The BBC is like that kid in your neighborhood who has a bunch of ‘great ideas’ for movies, but only has like ten friends so all his friends are repeatedly every single character in his movies, and slowly it becomes apparent that they’re all essentially the same, and use the same props and settings.

We’re like that kid’s parents, and watch every single movie.

The CW is like that kid’s cousin, who does the same thing but with fewer ideas.
